Research at SERC

SERC Institute exists wholly to support the Schoodic Education and Research Center of Acadia National Park and to collaborate in carrying out the center’s work. SERC Institute assists Acadia National Park in obtaining a better understanding of its natural and cultural resources through education and research activities at the Schoodic Education and Research Center. The research that is done at SERC helps park managers make the correct decisions concerning the park and its resources.
 
SERC Institute is dedicated to developing the scientists and educators of the future with its activities today.
